Sacrifice.Love.Beauty Campaign at DaisyBaby

By Ceara Prout

Here's a competition that might interest the mummies amongst us...

This month, children's online boutique 'Daisy Baby' are running a fabulous competition celebrating kiwi mums and the sacrifices they make out of love for their children.  I think most mums never feel their best as the needs of family come first, and perhaps we dont take as much care of ourselves as we should.  This competition is going to help make 12 lovely mums feel spectacular in recognition of the hard work they do!
To enter you simply need to send in a photo of yourself and your child/children, answer a few questions and tell a little about yourself and your journey through motherhood. Click Here for details...

Twelve winners will be chosen by a judging panel of three.  Each of the winning ladies and their kids will be brought to a studio in Auckland (travel costs provided for any winners who live a certain distance from Auckland) where they will receive a mini-makeover and take part in a photo-shoot.

They will each go home with a goody bag of prizes (Total prize pack for each winner is over $1000 in value and growing!) and their best photo from the day will be featured in the 2011 Calendar SACRIFICE.LOVE.BEAUTY which will have a 1950's style theme with a modern twist!

There is also another competition running side by side with this, where anyone can send an email in naming their favourite charity, one entry will be picked at random and that entrants favourite charity will receive $5 from the sale of EVERY calendar!

A fantastic project celebrating mums, and helping the winning charity, go and check it out at www.daisybaby.co.nz or find Daisy Baby on Facebook

  1. Just an update - $5 from the sale of each calendar will be donated to Mothers Matter. Their aim is to improve awareness and understanding of postnatal depression (PND) and related mental illnesses in pregnancy and after childbirth. Great cause!
